This is awful News...Dave and I go back to Thomas Williams Junior High School. We shared the love of basketball and used to play all the time with Neal Goldberg, Phil Baggaley, Andy Pincus, Jeff Connor and others.
Dave was blessed with a brilliant intellect (awesome "dark humor"), but was never arrogant or treated anyone with anything other than respect. As down to Earth as anyone I have known. I had the privilege of mutual visitation to each ohers homes back in the day. You could consider yourself very lucky to have him as a freind. The last time we spoke was blogging about him being a Lawyer near Syracuse, NY.
I was so hoping to see him at our 50th Reunion...
May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

That performance is SO WORTH seeing--I remember David from Junior High--and he reached out to me on FACEBOOK-and we had some very humorous exchanges-he knew about my husband's battle with cancer--never letting on his own valiant struggles....thanks for sharing this, Tom Scott!
