It would be fun to see who, if anyone, remembers me. I was a curious hippie then, and still am, in spirit and beliefs. I am still learning to be grateful for everything in my life.

Still a writer and poet, I also contribute to BroadwayWorld.com.

Mr. Buri's class grew my awareness of social issues and I have never forgotten his dedication to his students.

I loved how he sat on a desk and conversed without lecturing.

His Friday current events tests inspired me to form a life-long appreciation for the New York Times and The Inquirer.
