As a composer/playwright, music therapist, educator and theater director
my mission has been to create and produce musicals as vehicles to
to foster empathy, acceptance and respect.
The documentary, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE features my work as a music therapist. It aired nationally in 2015, and is distributed by American Public Television. The film won the gold medal from the NY International Film Festival, a special award from the United Nations and a mid-atlantic Emmy.

I was honored to receive the 2019 “Teacher as Hero” award from the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia!
